Here at Simon Bailes Peugeot, we’re looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking experienced service advisor to join our Stockton/Northallerton service department team as we look to a future of growth and success.

What we want from you

Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a busy vehicle service environment, with an understanding of the importance of attention to detail, combined with organisational skills and computer literacy. Displaying a positive attitude and actively supporting the companies aims of achieving excellent customer satisfaction through our consistently high standards.

As a Service Advisor your responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Facing: be the point of contact for our Service customers working on a busy Service Reception desk. Focusing on our NPS score, managing customers expectations.
  • Customer quotations: you will be responsible for quoting our customers for the service work required and invoicing and taking payment on completion of the service work carried out.
  • Service Bookings: you will be responsible for booking our customers service slots depending on the Technicians availability to carry out the work and advise the customer accordingly.
  • Additional Services: part of your role remit is to ensure that our Service customers are fully aware of the range of service offerings we provide and to promote those that are relevant for the customer.
  • Product Familiarity: there is an ongoing staff development programme conducted through Peugeot to ensure you are fully up to speed on the service offerings available to our customers.

About The Candidate:

To be considered for this position the ideal candidate will:

  • Experience in a busy Vehicle Service Centre environment.
  • Have highly developed customer service skills and be able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer environment.
  • Be confident in front of customers handling enquiries and questions relating to the services we provide.
  • Be comfortable understanding customer needs and proactively promoting any relevant product or service which would benefit the customer.
  • Be well organised, computer literate, appreciate the importance of attention to detail.Experience using Pinnacle Platform.
  • Be willing to take part in Product Familiarisation training organised through Peugeot to ensure they are fully aware of the range of products and service we are able to offer our Service customers.

This is a varied role, and we are looking for someone with previous experience of working within an aftersales or service department. You will be organised and hardworking and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a small team.

This is a full-time role, and you will be expected to work between 8:00am and 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm at our dealership in Northallerton. UK Driving License Required. Saturday working on a rota basis.
