Simon Bailes PEUGEOT COVID-19 Update

I wish to offer a personal and heartfelt thanks to you for continuing to be a valued customer of Simon Bailes Peugeot during the current coronavirus pandemic.

These are concerning times for everyone and this unprecedented situation is one of the most challenging for a ‘people’ business like Simon Bailes Peugeot, since it was established in 1979.

The overriding sentiment from me is that you and your loved ones stay fit and well – and, as such, I’d like to advise you of changes that we are making to vehicle sales and servicing.

For the safety of our employees and customers, in line with the current emergency measures announced by the government, our dealerships in Northallerton, Stockton and Guisborough will temporarily close their showrooms for vehicle sales.

However, our vehicle service departments will remain open to support essential vehicle servicing and maintenance. I’m sure customers will understand that it may be necessary to prioritise work on emergency vehicles and for those designated as key workers, over routine servicing.

Our website www.simonbailes.co.uk will remain operational for any online enquiries, and we still have the facility to accept orders, should you wish to buy a new or used vehicle. For any other enquiries, our online advisers are available to assist.

I can assure you that we have implemented strict hygiene standards in those departments that are remaining open, in line with Public Health England guidance, from handwashing, a no hand shaking policy to robust cleaning of all contact points by our technicians before and after servicing. 

We have worked hard for more than 40 years to ensure all our dealerships combine excellent customer service with award-winning vehicles that people want to drive.

There is no doubt that the current emergency will end, and when it does Simon Bailes Peugeot will be ready and waiting to welcome back friends, old and new.
