Team Peugeot TotalEnergies has unveiled the brand-new livery for the Peugeot 9X8, ready for the 2026 season of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).

The striking new design is the result of a close collaboration between Peugeot Design and Peugeot Sport, drawing inspiration from Peugeot’s iconic GTi heritage. The white, red and black colourway pays tribute to the legendary Peugeot 205 GTi, first introduced in 1984, and arrives ahead of the highly anticipated launch of the new Peugeot E-208 GTi later this year.

Matthias Hossann, Head of Design at Peugeot, explains the vision behind the new look:

“The new livery of the PEUGEOT 9X8 is first and foremost further proof of the exceptional quality of the collaboration between PEUGEOT Design and Peugeot Sport. Hypergraphics that represent the legendary three claws express performance and modernity, combined with a colourway that embodies the legendary PEUGEOT GTi spirit. Our aim is to bring an extra dose of emotion and enjoyment to every lap completed by the PEUGEOT 9X8.”

The dynamic ‘three claw’ graphic elements reinforce Peugeot’s modern design identity, while the GTi-inspired palette connects the brand’s rich performance heritage with its future-focused racing ambitions.

The #93 and #94 PEUGEOT 9X8 entries will compete in the upcoming WEC races wearing this bold new livery on the world stage.
